Tube Guides

When to use Tube Guides

Based on the tube’s outside diameter and gauge/wall thickness. Tube guides help steer the new tube through the pressure vessel.

The tube guide is screwed into the tube end and is held in place by the friction from the bristles and the tube inside the wall. An aluminum head shaped to a guiding point helps the tube locate holes in baffle plates and tube sheets. On the end of the bullet-shaped head is a drill hole to which a cord can be attached to help identify and steer the tube through baffles in the vessel.
