The A Series Boiler Tube Expanders, is a straight rolling expander enabling tube expansion from 7/8″ OD up to 4.1/2″ OD. These expanders, furthermore are one of the most cost-effective expanders available. Standard sizes 1.1/2″ to 3.0″ OD are always held in stock for immediate shipment.
The design allows the rolls to be self-contained, and protected within the cage. This is the best mode of tube expansion when flaring is not necessary. A Series Boiler Tube Expanders
The A series is an expander used to re-roll tube joints after manual beading. Also, used when tube joints need welding. Welding the tube end is completed on the first pass within the boiler. Whereas this procedure passes the heat from the tube end back into the tube sheet. Re-rolling the joint confirms the seal within the tube sheet hole.
